The new Tenso chamber choir repertoire database will use a “Wiki as Database” format. The wiki will focus on contemporary music – in this case defined as music written after 1890. It currently incorporates the repertoire databases of six Tenso choirs and contains over 3.400 works by 907 composers. Users will be able to search on a variety of fields, from basics such as composer, title, year of composition as well as more complex information such as lyrics, translation and performance notes, and have access to scores and recordings. The database will have at least two levels of access, one for the general public and one for Tenso registered users. The wiki will become available this summer.
